This is for CAST fixing, any one put a sample example .

Exceptions should not be ignored but yes we can do following :

skip action on exception.

define custom exception wherever needed

raise or catch specific exception for example NullReferenceException, ArgumentOutOfRangeException, InvalidCastException, FileNotFoundException, DevideByZeroException, FormatException, InvalidOperationException etc.
