Azure certification Az 204

I am .net developer with 6 + years of experince and looking forward cloud development. Does azure developer certification Az 204 would be helpful to me to move ahead in my cloud journey.

I guess 1st you have to give azure fundamental paper az-900 then you will be able to decide to roadmap of azure certifications there is multiple roadmaps.

I would say, start learning with basics. Why we need cloud, What are different models where cloud is suitable. Understand the need of it. Then check for the services it provides. How they work when we integrate them. Search for real use cases where people are implementing cloud (any).

Now, about certification, if you think that it will helpful to move ahead in your cloud journey, deifnitely it will. But, if you do not have certification but you have working knowledge of azure services, hands on experience on that, then you dont need certification to market yourself. But if you have certification and dont have knowledge then that certificate is of no use. I think it would help.

I would say a certificate will help you to market yourself in the field. But moving ahead is purely depends on your practical knowledge and your environments.

If you are not worked with Azure till date, it may difficult for you. I would suggest If you are new to azure, first take az 900 then try for az 204. If you want to blindly follow the dumps and just get the az 204 certificate it won't help you for longer run. You have to practice it wisely using various services. There would be latest 2 case studies will there in the question set. You can follow the rule like understand and practice and practice.

If you are a beginner, you would not want to start with this one. If you already have some experience working in Azure, then this certification path is good for learning more details about implementing solutions in Azure. It will give you great learning path for Azure Storage, Azure Serverless computes, Azure Security etc.
