I have already given you so many links that are enough for eye opening. I doubt if IGNOU official itself can answer you now that whether they will take you as MCA candidate in 2014 or not. It is university regulation and rules.

But practically it is not. A university make courses itself and started offering. In India, we have AIU for setting up equal standard level at higher education and a University should get recognize its courses that can guarantee that its course syllabus is equal to other university. But, how many follow? DEC clearly mention that for running technical or different field courses will require the approval of their concern approval body. But how many follow it? Do they take approval or recognition from AICTE for technical courses, recognition from NCTE, BCI etc.
In fact, UGC, and earlier DEC are very lazy or dull. They are like our police who come after incident and not on time. And they will explode with something that shows their existence like announcing a list :http://www.dec.ac.in/Documents/Recogniton%20Expired%20-%20List%20-%2031.01.2013.pdf

You well know that how much we Indians adhere the rules and regulations. In fact our system is so lazy or let me say corrupted that makes Indians life harder. This is the root reason for violation.
Let me give you one example by consider SMU. It was smartly opening centers not only throughout the nation but abroad. No officials from DEC or any apex recognition body stopped them or warned students in time. Though it was permitted to offer its distance courses under its establish state only. Hmm. After happening much, DEC said it is not going to continue its recognition. Ok, DEC awoke atleast. But, what about already enrolled students like you? If DEC is saying that this university is de-recognized now, then how its given degree will be taken as valid? DEC should have announce it in well before time so that peoples could have stop taking admission. If sudden you say then it should take responsibility of future of already enrolled students. Right? It should transfer enrolled student to other valid university but again territory rule applied and no way is there. Hmm.
Its not me who is saying that degree from this or that university is invalid but the rule is making them invalid. So far many action has been taken onto many university. SMU is still making buzz and offering distance courses. Who knows, what government will decide. I guess many high profile officers, authorities, politicians are on SMU degree so may be they will not cut its rope.
But rule applies to everyone. The day will come when expose fire will burn it also.

I have also mentioned the same that prior enrolled students will get certificate. But, the main concern is breaching of territory and other regulations of earlier DEC. And that was the reason to not extending its recognition. Still you can see attractive emails and advertisements of this university and they are taking admission also.
This university along with many others like PTU, EIILM, CMJ, KSOU etc has violated the regulations and their degree stand invalid except their regular and campus one. They have appointed agents or agencies or franchisees to offer their degrees.
Later or sooner, someone will go to supreme court and all degree seller shops will be closed. I pray god to open the eye of candidates so that they don't get into word of these phony universities.
Some state governments are going to take strict action on these degree holders. You can refer this blog : http://codepattern.net/Blog/post/CMJ-University-latest-news

It is good planning. Go ahead.
But, still you didn't answer my from which study center(city/state) are you doing your BCA? You said that you are doing it from SMU. Enrolled students can be provided certification by SMU as new enrollment has been said to stop by DEC.
Coming to second and important point, a higher degree course(and any distance mode course by any state private university) can't be franchised and SMU is breaching this, so if you are doing BCA from other than the territory(not beyond its establish state i.e. Sikkim) of SMU, your degree will stand invalid in future.
Please don't be in panic but it is fact. There are many more universities who are on the same track. Many Universities has been identified but Alas! after playing with innocent students.

Meanwhile continue your higher studies with IGNOU or Madras University or like these central open universities. You can choose your state and district specific reputed university also. SMU recognition had been withdrawn by earlier DEC but they are still taking admission and playing with career of candidates by taking stay at court. This will be beneficial for your future and give you wider scope. As day by day education level is increasing and being higher.

Hi,
It is very good that you gone for your graduation with GNIIT. Higher education is always advice if you are OK with your financial needs.
Now coming to your next point where you want some clear picture as you did your graduation in open mode and it may not be so valued and for only this reason you want to go PG courses. Well, let me clarify that open mode educations are seen with good eyes in western countries and India due to some private universities who are mainly exist for selling degrees has little bit pushed it into bad reputation. But it is not the case for all universities. There are still well reputed universities in distance mode education. After having some experience, it is not so valued that whether you have done your graduation in distance or regular except few. For getting this experience why are you in so hurry? As I said in my first line, that higher education is always advised and preferred.
Now, on your third point that you are week in mathematics. Why do you think that MCA from IIT level institutions are more valued? Only because they have good campus placement? I always says, one should be focused on quality education and not on big names. If you have ability you can prove yourself. I have pointed one of C#Corner MVP in my old replies. He made himself a celebrity by just contributing and sharing his knowledge. Why not you? I am not saying that contribution is the only key, I just given an example.
So, my advice, if you are OK with financial go for higher education. Try your hard to get good and reputed institution/university.
All the best.
P.S.: Generally, companies look for 15 years regular education and still you are fit into it with your GNIIT! Don't get so much worry, you are in good position to get a job as well go for higher education.
