Best Architecture for asp.net MVC and webapi

Question

Hi I am going to build an ERP for that I like to chose asp.NET MVC with SQL server ,HTML CSS bootstrap for frontend , I like to use web API as well can someone suggest a best project architecture along with any example to see. Thanks

Hi, Considering current trends, I will recommend to go for clean architecture. I have ready to use template. I think you will use Entity Framework , so all your Entity Will be generated in BOL layer but your context class must generate in DAL , if you don't know how to split entity then please let me know. BLL will be for business logics (CRUD+ business specific methods)

1.BOL (Business object) 2.BLL (Business Logic) 3.DAL (Data Aceess) 4.Web API 5.UI (MVC) MVC's controller will call the web API using HttpClient or RestClient , Web API will call the BLL , BLL will call the DAL + BOL. so, a simple architecture.
