I am new to C# development. I was looking into SSIS for SQL Server for my workplace using Visual Studio. I was not liking the SSIS option so I looked around in Visual Studio to see what other options there were. I started to develop a couple of tools using Windows Presentation For, WPF. Seems to be working okay. I've done a little research and a couple of articles seemed to indicate that WPF was on it's way out the door. I am looking to create stand alone apps that, for now, can run on a Windows PC with varying OS platforms. Does anyone have any recommendation on if I should move away from WPF? Other Options? Best Option?
