Best way to perform Notes to Outlook conversion

I'm really confused between manual and external tool for doing Notes to Outlook conversion. I just read an article that contains full information about notes to outlook migration but I found the process was really tedious to implement. So can somebody help me or suggest me the alternate way for migrating lotus notes to outlook.
