Best way to Set Alerts to Multiple Users to Multiple Lists?

Hi,

 

What is the best way to set alerts to multiple lists for multiple users? is it possible OOTB ? 

 

Also suppose a new user has been added to a sharepoint group, is it possible to set alerts for that user to all the lists in the site?
