Well I need it on the blocks because if the ball hits the left right or corners it needs to send the ball the opposite directions and it needs to break the block which I already have working. The reason the ball does not disappear when it hits the bottom is because for testing it right now it was easier to just have the ball never disappear. I do have the code in the game I just commented it out for now.

With the bumper, or bat as I call it, the easiest way to check hits on different faces would be to assign 4 smaller rectangles to the 4 sides of the bat and check collision on those
Why you need this on the blocks is puzzling to me
Usually when the ball hits the bottom of the form, it goes out of play

I should have made the form a different color but if you look closely there is a button on that transparent form its in the middle. if you click that button it will start the game. Sorry about that

Please check your code - it's not running correctly - all I get is a transparent form
