Building A .NET Core 2.0 Class Library

I just read one of your articles entitled, "Building A .NET Core 2.0 Class Library". However, the tutorial built a class library using .NET Standard. I don't get it. Did I miss something?

They do the same. They use .net Standard 2.0 for the library too. Odd!
