My question is : how to evaluate time taken by a backgroung task in order to calculate pourcent in progress bar ?

A file is joined with my code.

Declare StopWatch variable globally and start if when you start your Background worker and stop it at backgroundWorker1.RunWorkerCompleted.

You have to generate the RunWorkerCompleted event, in the mean while write your time taken logic in DoWork event.

I've done it but where do place it ?
I need to calculate pourcent just before report progress, something like this :
pourcent = sw.Elasped * 100/ TempsTotal

public bool ExtractAndUpdateOne(string nomTable, out string bilan)
{

TempsTotal calculation can only appear there :

       StopWatch sw = new StopWtach();
        sw.Start();
ServicesCommuns.extract_update();
        sw.Stop();
        TempsTotal = sw.Elapsed;

To calculate the time taken to accomplised the task you can use StopWatch.
