c# 2008 can not install in server 2003 sp2

Hello, guys how are you doing? i am a beginner to programming language and i like to start with c# express edition and

I have downloaded the C# 2008 express edition to my server 2003 SP2 ( from Microsoft.com/express)and when I try to install, it asked me to insert Disk ( set up is looking for vcredist.exe and says " please insert Microsoft Visual C# 2008 express Edition SP1-ENU disk 1 now" So, please guys I need your help?

just download the Offline Install ISO and use the ISO for installation

Hi, guys how you doing? thanks for replying but still the problem is the same i mean not solved. let me give you in detail what i have in my server
- IIS6 is configured
- .NET FRAME WORK 2.0
- SQL server sp3

Hi,

I think you need down load correct version for Windows server 2008.

Here you need download the VS 2008 express with SP1.

you can install Express on Windows 2003 server the problem you are describing is due to IE Restrictions in 2003 Server, in order install in 2003 server download the full install insted of using the web install.
