C# Tutorials

Hello Forum,
I am looking for a good C# tutorial that teaches writing out the UI in code versus using the drag and drop tools in MS Visual Studio. I am using VS, but I want to just write the code rather than drag controls onto a form and then adding events and coding the events. I am learning the language and framework and like doing it by hand versus drag and drop.
Can anyone point me to a good tutorial that covers this?

I am currently using Window Forms and ASP.NET.
I am doing exactly what you said...creating things and then looking at the code....I would rather just work through things in code from tutorials. That is what I am looking for.

What are you using to build your application - Windows Forms, ASP.NET, ASP.NET & MVC, WPF, or Silverlight? One way to learn this is, use designers to build your UI and controls, then look at the code what they write and understand it. Once you understand it, you can write your code from scratch.
