Call Microsoft Graph API from C# with plain admin creds.

The question is very straight forward.

Is it possible to use Username and Password as a Plain text to get Office 365 Groups and users in c# code using Microsoft Graph API?

If yes, then how? I need to develop an application where I need to fetch the Office 365 Groups and Users and display it to the Non Admin Users too.

Hi Aakash,

If you just need to show (in read only mode) all users and groups then you don't need admin user for that.

any user of an organization can see that.

have you tried MS Graph explorer to fire those basic queries? If not, then please read my articles on MS Graph Explorer intro.

for all users:

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/graph-explorer?request=users&method=GET&version=v1.0&GraphUrl=https://graph.microsoft.com

for all groups:

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/graph-explorer?request=groups&method=GET&version=v1.0&GraphUrl=https://graph.microsoft.com

you can also login using any of your organization's non-admin user and see what happens. this should solve your problem I think.
