Calling Executables from a Windows Service

Almost anything that can be done from a console app can be done from a service. If you can write it as a console app, just remove all the I/O and put that class in a service. The ALMOST part comes in interacting with the desktop. For applications that work as console apps but not as services, just configure the service (in the service management console) to allow "interact with desktop". These are usually GDI operations and such.
