Calling the Java script function from Page_unload event

I have one function in page.for example take show();

This function i want to execute from Page unload event. but this is not working can you please tell me how to do that ?

I don't want to go through that way, because i have to check some conditions and i have to pass the parameters to that function so, i have to go through page unload event.

It should be client side, if not tried already. e.g. below.
