Can a key/value pair not be sorted?

Hi,

Is there a way to have a key/value pair that is not in sorted form (i-e not a sortedlist)? Is HashTable an option? But I believe a hashtable can not be indexed , however I want the indexing capability as well.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi saniaa,
Use System.Collections.Specialized.OrderedDictionary, which is not sorted in any way. You can access this using both key or index.
