Hi Ramesh Swamy,
The following way you can extract the first 10 rows from a Pandas DataFrame using positive indexing
# to read a xlsx file
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_csv('titanic.csv')
print(df[0:10])
Apart from what you have asked, the following are the ways to print first 10 rows
# to read a xlsx file
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_excel('titanic.xlsx', nrows=10)
print(df)
Another way is
# to read a xlsx file
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_csv('titanic.csv')
print(df.head(10))

Hi, To read 1st 10 rows you can simply try this
#import panda
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_csv('yourdataset.csv')
result=df.head(10)
print(result)
