Can I add a Refrence to a VS Project through code?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to add a reference to a vs08 project through code and not using the VS interface.
i have created a design time control that creates a dynamic assembly that i would like to add a reference to when the control is added to the project.

Any one have any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.
