Can i control hardware using c# .net

If the camera has a standard DirectShow driver that supports the common Camera Control specification, you can use the LEADTOOLS Multimedia SDK to control it:

The Camera Control specification allows you to get and set properties like zoom, exposure, iris, pan, tilt, focus and roll.

The following code shows how the .NET Capture control from LEADTOOLS does that:

//Assuming the camera is the very first device

//If it's not, change the value to its index instead of zero

captureCtrl.VideoDevices.Selection = 0;

// reference the camera control

CameraControl camera = captureCtrl.CameraControl;

if (camera == null)

{

MessageBox.Show("Device does not support camera control");

return;

}

// try to set some camera auto properties

camera.AutoFocus = true;

camera.AutoTilt = false;

camera.AutoZoom = true;

// now try to set some camera manual properties

Ya obviosly you can do it in c#.
You need basic knowledge of c++ and COM programming.

Depends what library you are using, what machine you are using and how you want to play with camera. Keep posting one by one issues in detail....
