Can I detect the installed MDAC version ?

Is there any way to detect which MDAC version is installed on a server by code ? Thanks in advance Thomas

Dim myConn As Object myConn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") MessageBox.Show(myConn.version) yes thats vb.net. i tried looking for a c# equivelent of CreateObject but i couldnt find it so the worst case is, put this in a vb.net dll and link it to your c# project if it must be done in c#
