      you can do Coding for almost everything using Asp.Net. Today Most of the Intranet Chat Applications are developed using .Net Technologies.So, you can write your multichat Application using Asp.Net. 

        And Understand , its very difficult to provide Coding Hint for your Application without proper Understandings of Functionality that you want to provide in your application.
