can't acces datagrid rows from another form

Hello...I am new in C# and I can't fine the solution to a problem..I have a datagrid on the main form and I want to display the datagrid records on another form, but the datagrid isn't visible for the second form. How can i solve this? Thanks!!

I'm assuming this is a Windows Forms application.

First you need to change the Modifiers property of the DataGridView from private to internal so that it is visible to other forms in the application. You can do this from the Properties Box.

Second, you need a reference to the main form. There are many ways to obtain this but the following way won't disrupt your existing code.

Suppose the main form is called Form1 and the DGV is called dataGridView1:

Form1 main = (Form1)Appplication.OpenForms["Form1"];
DataGridView dgv = main.dataGridView1;
// add code to get the records you need from dgv

I have one more question..now I want to acces from the main form textboxes that are placed on the second form..how can I do that?
