Career Advice
I am having 8 years of total IT exp out of which around 4 yrs in .Net, few in production support and rest is oracle.In my currently in my current company due to lack of projects in .net, i am working in Oracle DBA related work for last 1 and half years. But inspite of of having such a big exp level, I am unable to crack interviews of my experience level in .Net as i hardly have good architecture and design level knowledge needed at this level. Also, i am not well versed with LINQ and MVC and most of the organizations are asking for people with MVC experience. What i must do to get a new job in .Net into the Tech lead level. I am not getting the chance to work on it either in my organization in .Net technology as we dont have any projects in this technology and i want to change. I dont know how should I move in my career.

Abhishek wrote some really smart advice, I would just add a couple of follow-ups to his answer.
First regarding the "Write some sample code and try to make some complex scenarios", I would encourage you to go even further, create some interesting and non-trivial web application. As you have already mentioned your current organization does not work with .NET technologies so you will definitely need to obtain this knowledge by yourself.
Also this would be a great indicator of self-motivation, you would show your future employer that you don't mind taking up your free time for educational purposes and that you are constantly working on improving yourself.
Also even though I'm not exactly sure why you are unsuccessful at the interviews, I would advise you to practice with some commonly known interview questions (note that I'm referring to both technical and non-technical questions). You can easily find some by googling for them.
Also I'm not sure if you are encountered some interview tests, in case you did (regardless whether they were whiteboard or paper tests) I would suggest you to practice for them by solving some of the programming tests over at TestDome.
They have a great collection for various technologies, for ASP.NET MVC I would suggest you to try HTML, CSS and JS coding tests for the front end and C# coding tests for the back end.

I understand the situation you are currently living in. I assume after reading your question that you want to go ahead in MS.Net technologies as your career path. There are ample video tutorials and articles available over the internet.
I would suggest you the following tips:
- Find out the articles and interview questions on that area and do brush up your skills
- Seek help of your same technologies friends and discuss within that group
- Attend some open sessions (if possible)
- Invest some time in mock interviews (arrange it with yourself in front of mirror)
- This will surely give you confidence
- Now, you can gradually move to the weak areas and prepare in the same way as stated above
- Write some sample code and try to make some complex scenarios
- Visit asp.net/mvc for sure timely and go through the free videos available there
- Appear in any interview and note down the questions asked there and prepare the answers for any other interview (probably some of same level questions could be asked in any other interview)
- More you discuss, more you'll learn
- Remove the negativity at all
I'm sure this exercise will give you some path to move forward.Good luck for future
