It should be atleast 2 years if you are fresher this is because for the first year you would be learning how to work in professional world and how to work in a team like co-developers , team leader ,project manager. How to be in communication with team. In short you will learn the way company works. So first year company will teach you how to work and for the next year you will work with the company in major project. If you are not a fresher then you must atleast stay for 1year and must have a strong reason to leave the job because in the nex company they can ask for the reason to leave the previous company.

How much you like the company
Does the package satisfies your need
Do you get Onsite there
If you are in a company for a long years, surely you will be in higher grade in that company, sometimes you can become a delivery head also, it depends on how much you know about that company, and process following like that.
