Causing Session timeout within 5 min even I set 20 Min

Hi,

I am using asp.net 4.0 and I set session timeout 20 in web.config and I checked in IIS its 20. still session timeout is happening with in 5 min. Please suggest How can I increase session timeout .

Hi AJ,
I haven't set time out for cookies and I checked every where session time out is 20. i.e. in web.config, IIS application pool ideal session timeout also 20. still session expiring before 20 min.

Session Id is maintained into cookies on Client Side, Please check that you are not setting and Cookie Expiration time explicitly(Remember that you are not setting is explicitly somewhere because by default it will be 20), it may be possible that the session is valid for 20 minutes on server, but the cookie on client side expires in 5 minutes. I think in you case this is the only possible scenario i can think off.
