This is my code, but nnot working...still date is show - mm/dd/yyyy (09/01/2020)

$("#txtDate").datepicker({

dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yy',

});

pls help me..

Hi,
$("#txtDate").datepicker({
dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy',
});

Above code should work. Please make sure you have necessary javascript plugins in place and "txtDate" is defined as

Please try below code, I've verified it its working as expected.
$(function() {
    $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker({
      dateFormat: "dd/mm/yy"
    });
});

OUTPUT -> 04/01/2021

You can use following syntax:
$(name of your selector).datepicker({
dateFormat: 'dd-mm-yy'
});

Hi,
This works perfect for me. Please make sure jquery ui files are loaded proper. Put the below code under document.ready.

$("#txtDate").datepicker({
dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yy'
});
