Change of Domain, Advice needed

Hi friends,

I am a junior asp.net developer having 1 yr exp. I discovered i am more interested in the database design.
How do i prepare for a career in SQLl database design. Please advice how can i prepare.
And any additional advice will be very helpful.

Agree with Mahesh, in addition to that you can start looking at database used in your current application and get involve more into database activities your current project demands.

As Mahesh mentioned, learn all those things and C# Corner site has a lot of good articles and tutorials on SQL as well.

Do you mean you want to be a DBA? Then you start digging all the database help documentation and start creating, deleting, messing around with databases. Databases need more hands-on. So start putting databases (SQL Server for example) on your machine, and start digging into documentation, buy a DBA book.
