Check dublicate from inSQL while inserting Data from UI C#

Hi Matt,

Assign unique key constraint to those columns in DB.Then,

1)If u r using entity framework , then u can simply write LINQ query to verify whether the same employee is already exist , if exist then rerun some alert to the UI.

2) If you are not using EF then, write a SP to check whether that employee is already exists or not.

var emp = _dbContext.employeetable.where(e=>e.code == yourinputempcode && e.name == yourempname).select (e=>e).FirtOrDefualt();

You need to check user from database .
