checkbox autopost back not working with updatepanel in grid

Hi,

Try to set the updatemode = "Conditional" in the definition of updatepanel

Example :

<asp:UpdatePanel ID="UpdatePanel1" runat="server" updatemode = "Conditional">
<ContentTemplate>
<asp:CheckBox ID="chekBox" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("Name") %>' Checked='<%# Eval("Check") %>' AutoPostBack="true" OnCheckedChanged="chekBox_CheckedChanged" />
<asp:HiddenField ID="hdnGroupName" runat="server" Value='<%# Eval("GroupName") %>' />
ContentTemplate> <Triggers> <asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="chekBox" EventName="CheckedChanged" />
Triggers>
asp:UpdatePanel>

Add the event in trigger like this under the update panel:
<Triggers>
<asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="chkbxid" EventName="CheckedChanged" />
Triggers>
