Hi All,

This issue is related to SharePoint 2013. I have added a 'content editor webpart' to my Home page. But when i do CHECK OUT and EDIT to Home page, i am getting the below error message.

Message: "Checked in but being edited and checked out exclusively".

In CEWebpart , the closing button and downward arrow mark is not appearing. Just two arrow's are appearing. Please help.

Hi Nandeep,

Both options at NO state and i have enabled versioning (3 major versions). I can able to edit the webparts with edit option. For particular user it is not appearing (Edit option). User is site owner.

Can you please specify the version settings used for below:
Require content approval
Require documents to be checked out before editing
