Checking Textbox's all rows

Hello,
I want to check a textbox's all rows. For example a user will write some IP's to textbox, and then I will check all of these IP's that if they recorded to db.

Textbox is;
--------------------
12.12.12.1
1.1.1.1
4.5.5.5
4.56.56.56
...
--------------------
Then I have a db that recorded Ip addresses. I want to control that which one of them is recorded before, and which one of them isn't recorded.

How can I check every row's IP's?

If the user is pressing the return key after entering each IP, I'd try something like:

string[] ipAddresses = TextBox1.Text.Split(new string[] { Environment.NewLine}, StringSplitOptions.None);
string thirdAddress = ipAddresses[2];

Yeah, sorry; I often don't think in terms of ASP.

Unfortunately, it's ASP.NET and so the TextBox doesn't have a Lines property.

I would probably use the Lines property of the TextBox to get an array of lines.

Well, the TextBox's Rows property tells you how many rows are displayed but that doesn't mean that there's anything in all of them.

If you're using the previous code, then ipAddresses.Length will tell you how many rows have something in them.

However, you might want to change StringSplitOptions.None to StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries in case the user enters any blank lines.

One more question; I'll use a "while loop" for checking all value. How can I know that, how many rows are in the textbox?
