Client Class

Class contain Main() method is called client class. I don't know the logic behind this. If anyone knows please tell me.

The expression that is being used there is 'class client' rather than 'client class'.

What that means is that no 'consumer' of the Employee class can access its idNumber field directly.

So 'class client' really means 'consumer' here. In the example, the Main method is a 'client' of the Employee class in the sense that it is instantiating it and calling its GetId and SetId methods.

Any other method could equally well be a client of the Employee class in the same sense.

Not the first time that this book has been found guilty of using confusing terminology.

That's news to me unless the class containing the Main() method happens to be called 'client'.
