after submit buttion:

error:

one textbox in text clear automatically will not check code also

Onclick function is working properly but requierment client validation

Hi,
Your declared OnClientClick function is not correct format use it.
OnClientClick="return Btn_Insert_Click1();"

now create this function in javascript like..

function tn_Insert_Click1(){

///Write your code here
return true or false according to your need.
}

@Amit, his server side code seem to be working fine from the beginning, if you see his original question post.

All he wants to do is implement client side validation, I think!

Hi,
use this code Onclick="btn_isert()" inplace of your code Onclick="btn_isert". Then your application will running perfect.

Let me also make an attempt to enlighten you:

1/ You should write onClientClick EXACTLY as is shown below:

OnClientClick="return buttonInserting();"

Which means you CANNOT have capital R.

2/ Then you will need a JAVASCRIPT function named EXACTLY as mentioned in above code, which will be called by browser:

Client side code is ONLY for validation. It is NOT going to perform any database operation.

use return keyword in onclientclick OnClientClick="return Btn_Insert_Click1();"

example :
function Btn_Insert_Click1 ()
{
if(your condition satisfied)
{
alert("satisfied");
return true;
}
else
{
alert("Not satisfied");
return false ;
}
}

Your code is not in correct format.

see below mistake in your code.

 OnClientclick="Return buttinserting" OnClick="  Btn_Insert" />
 here use it like

//correct

OnClientclick="Return buttinserting()"

and remove space from OnClick fucntion like.

//correct

OnClick="Btn_Insert()"

What is your definition of client side validation? Where is "Btn_Insert_Click1" is written? What is it that you want to validate?

How did you manage to check that "OnClientClick function not working"?
