close a form, then open it again

Hi :) I have a form that is shown when a button is clicked. I want to close the form and then open it again. I used form.hide() on event formclosing..and it works..but there's another way to close(not hide) the form and open again? thanks

Suppose you're opening form2 from form1 on a button click and, if form2 is already open, you want to close it first before opening it again:

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Form2 f2 = Application.OpenForms["Form2"] as Form2
if (f2 != null) f2.Close();
f2 = new Form2();
f2.Show();
}
