In short, Cloud Computing is to have all computing resources hosted somewhere over the Internet. Whether you are running applications that share photos or support the critical operations of your business, you need rapid access to flexible and low cost IT resources. The term "cloud computing" refers to the on-demand delivery of IT resources via the Internet with pay-as-you-go pricing. It is a self-service environment for the creation of highly-scalable applications, with the immediate availability of compute power and granular levels of billing. It's the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
Hope it makes a clear idea about Cloud Computing.
