How can a search any part of a text in a combobox inside a datagridview using c# windows application?

Hello

You can do by getting text of the input and can do like this :
bs.Filter = dgv1.Columns[1].HeaderText.ToString() + " LIKE '%" + text1.Text + "%'";

There is no text box here.. I want to use the combo box to enter the string. the problem is the combo box is not accepting string.it is disabled to accept strings.

my problem is the combobox cant accept text. the property is alrady combobox

Hello

Yes absolutely you can do it using combobox value change event or if you have searchbox inside combo box than you can trigger event on text change

thank you for your reply.

but what i want is i want to enter my string in the combo box, then upon clicking the drop down or enterkey, i will show me the result in the combobox.
