Communication bet server and client

Hi

I'm developing a monitoring application running on a server , i need to ceate a client application to receive a realtime data from the server every second ,how can i communicat the client with the server to acheive the real time communication.

Assuming that the client does not need to be inside a web browser, you can use WCF at both ends. WCF is very flexible, powserful and can use most communication protocols. There are many articles in this web site about WCF.

use jquery on ur webserver and wcf services to get the realtime data.
