Hi sir, It's all upto your interest,if you talk about money ,it won't matter in long term. You need interest to enjoy your work,and once you start enjoying ,you will be creative and thus money will follow you :).Forget about the money. Do what you do because you like it and you want to be better at it, not because of how much it pays.Pay is going to be reflected by how well you perform at said job, it's not just a "given".Find out what you want to do, prepare for it, and the money will fall in to place.Watch : 3 Idiots ,its an indian movie ,which tells success follows you,once you develop your interest.

DBA or software developer? there were more scope for both ,but the main point of choosing your career was how u develop urself once u choose it for your career my best advice was to choose based on ur intrest and read blogs,ask and contribute to questions , if u choose dba learn hadoop,bigdata for big companies, else sql server,nosql,oracle would be fine if u choose software developer ,just practice to write "buisnes logic" if you were ready to write logic well then syntax of the language would be no matter hope it helps
