Confused State - What to do

From my point of view you picked a great topic. Actually I never tried Share Point coz of end-up from other topics and jobs. Once upon a time when I find some time interval to learn it then hardware system requirement made me stop. Now, I have sufficient system and I really need some basic helps to startup with this.

I picked up SharePoint 2010.

One exercise book so that beginners/Experts to test themselves
For beginners some simple Exercise
For Experts some difficult Exercise

SharePoint or WCF or WWF, with basics.

The most important considerations are opportunity and what you have to offer. Is the market for Silverlight 5 saturated or is there opportunity? Are you more familiar with it than most other authors? The other choices are the same.

But you know that. And you are different because you are more interested in helping people than making money.

I think though that there are probably plenty of books about Silverlight already. Most books about Silverlight 5 will be mostly about Silverlight with a little bit about what is new about Silverlight 5. If you can write a whole book all about just the improvements for Silverlight 5 then that would likely be a winner.

Am I correct that most of a book about Mono for Android would be about Silverlight and most of it that is unique to Android would be relevant to Xamarin (whatever the new software will be called)? So if you work on that then you would likely not have much work to do to revise it for the new software and you would have a head start on other authors.

Descisions such as this are difficult. I will be surprised if I can tell you something you don't already know.
