confusion at fresher level

Please try to be expert on a particular domain. If you are working on asp.net then you should be expert in C#, asp.net frame work. And try to be stron in MS SQL Server. It is the heart of Software Development. Please try to learn more in the small comapny. Big company hires on the basis of lateral entry. So, they demands more than 2 years of experience. So, keep patient and learn so much. Be technically stron. Learn new techniques of Microsoft like LINQ, MVC, WCF,WPF and concentrate more on Ms Sql server.

@Keyur: MCSD is no more and valid upto VS2010 version level. Now a days, it is MCSD.


@Iswarya: As I said in previous reply, starting with small company will not hamper so much as you are bothered now. Your first priority should be to start your career. If you get a chance to start with bigger companies then it is good in terms of package etc. If you start with small companies you will learn a lot there!!

I understand your confusion but it is very tough to get job in same area as fresher level.
I would suggest to join your offered company and keep in touch with latest technology in your free time. You will definitely get work in your desire technology in future. IT industry is very vast. 

Regarding study, it is depend on company to company policy. You can study at home or in free time without affecting your work. First concentrate on your assign work.

@Keyur patel   sir, still am confused.. i did my project in workflow technology but here in work we worked in windows and web application.. there is no chance to recall workflow technology.. if i study it side by side, is it affect my working in company??

I would suggest to join with your on hand offered company. Make sure , project and work. Project and work is very important for your future. I think, you also did your last semester project in Windows workflow and .Net. It is really good to got chance to worked on that technology.

Now come back with your question, you can also study some technologies on your free time. Try to pass some certification with your work. This would be your added advantage in your career profile.
