controlling the size of grid view at run time

Hi,
Dear Reader,
I m trying to display data in a grid view which is placed in a pannel ,the problem is that
the size of grid view becomes larger than that of pannel at run time,is it possible to make it a horizontally scrollable, if yes then send me the code please.
