DateTime d = Convert.ToDateTime(stringvalue);
DateTime d= DateTime.Parse(stringvalue);
DateTime d = DateTime.ParseExact(stringvalue, "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm tt",null);
DateTime.TryParse(stringvalue, out DateTime d)

use Tryparse which returns to true if parsing is sucessfull and return out variable with datetime.

Where is the code that you have done with date and time. It was a minor mistake.
