Copying files using installer

Question

Hi,
Does anyone have any code/know how to copy a folder with files in it at installation time from the source directory i.e. the CDROM to the chosen application directory?
Is it possible using a custom action and creating an installer for it? If so do you have some code examples?

What I am trying to do is copy a folder that contains device drivers from the CDROM that the intstaller for the pc application is on. The Drivers folder contains subdirectorys that each contain files with the same name, this stop me from doing the first thing you suggested because I can't make a folder structure in the deployment project, or so i think? So basically what I wanted to do was have the user insert the CD, the program install, then the drivers folder get automatically copied to the application directory. Hope this helps explain. Why don't you include the files in your project and they will be built in to the MSI -- or is your installation media on a CDROM and you want to copy files that you are POSITIVE will exist in the installation media at the time the installer is run? This method tends to be a little more troublesome as they could potentially copy the installer off of the cd drive before they run it. Let me know a little more about what you're trying to accomplish.
