i have a question. i am a computer programmer and have like a bit under a year till i graduate, and with lots of free time. so i wanna use this time wisely and spend it on programming but the thing is i don't know what is more needed out there in the work force. like what should i really have a good knowledge of, meaning areas in c# and also other skills that would be good to know ex. networking, web programming etc?

if you are new to programming language then i would like to welcome you in programing world. it is really gud to move in programming. as i am also a student cum author of this community website, i would like to suggest to you learn HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript languages. Because to get deep in C#, you should have basic knowledge of there languages. You can start C# language directly but after-all you can not be a successful programmer in C#. above language are secondary languages but it helps the C# to implement dynamic and more well look. above are not vast language you can get it without any private tuition. but you have to get start it........To be very frank, till today i have not attained any computing tuition. i only use internet to learn all. so u can also do the same.
