C++ beginner programmer

hye everyone. i'm a begginer in C++ programming then would like to do a program using visual C++. i am still student and need to create facial recognition system using visual C++. right now i dont know where i want to start. i never study visual C++ before. so please u guys help me what first i need to know before do the coding??

programming subject that i already studied is C & C++ programming..but nor visual C++..
anyway what is different between real time & not reral time system??according to its coding

Do you already have a programming background? It depends on how deep your understanding in software development.

If you don't have any programming background yet, 3 months will almost be impossible.

If you do have a deep programming background, it is possible. But it also depends on how far your understanding is with facial recognition. As far as I could remember, it's the hardest thing to do in multimedia comparison (shape, color, text, sound, nature, face, people etc). I forgot the correct term to use. It depends on how fast you could research existing libraries to help you with the facial recognition.

In my opinion, given a deep programming background, it is possible, but it would not be easy.

to Jan Montano thank for the reply. i really appreciate ur concern to my topic. i already dwonload the note from the site you have given. i want to ask your opinion, can somebody that never have basic about visual C++ to finish this job in 3 month?i already said before that i need to create system which is title ' facial recognition'. one more thng my system is real-time system. is't more difficult???

Hi there! Welcome.

The first thing you could do is to read, read, and read. Read tutorial books, books for beginners. That's where we all started from. I did a google search with keys: learing visual c++.net
