Create COM interface for service

Can you point me to the article that was created. I am getting ready to search my self also.

Yea I did a lot of COM in college in c++, now I just spend sometime to apply in it in c sharp. I am going to create a sample project to work with and attach it in the next reply within in 30minutes.

Then I think there are articles that will help you. I think there was one published just a few days ago; sometime last week. I suggest looking at that sample project of course and then making a sample of what you need to do before trying to modify the service itself. In other words, spend some time learning it. There are articles in other web sites but this web site probably has everything you need.

Note that if an article says ActiveX then it might be more than you need; the term ActiveX, if used properly, means something that has a UI and a service does not have a UI.

Yes sir the service needs to modified to be manage by unmanage code, and the existing service is developed in c sharp.

Do you need to modify the service so it can be used by unmanaged code? Is the service developed using C#?
