I want to add tags to files.. (what vista offers, does not satisfy me.. there are to many limitations)

doesn't matter.
i just want to take some file, add it in the end or in the beginning any number of bytes, and make the OS ignore it when it's read...
is it even possible..? i think i must use a high level drivers programing...

What kind of files did you mean xml, aspx ashx or simple text files
