Creating PHP Database

Hello hope you are well, firstly I would like to say you have a fantastic website, the tutorials are very easy to follow please keep up your great work.

I am new to PHP and I need to use CodeIgniter to create a PHP database that allows me to store data onto a database with a click of button or text and also display records from a database with a click of button or text.

Can you please direct me to the correct place on where I can achieve this.
