Question why are you multiplying c1 * c2. Should you be adding c1 and c2 to get complete sum?

so for ex.

declare shared variable like this

shared Bal as number

shared c1 as number, C2 as number

c1 = c1 + {ColorTable1.EmployeeRate}

c2 = C2 + {ColorTable2.EmployeeRate}

Bal = c1 * c2

formula = Bal

and return the shared formula at footer section.

Hi,

are you using Group section? i think you have to declare variable and to running total manually.

The field you see in the report is a formula field

if isnull({ColorTable1.EmployeeRate})

THEN Round ({ColorTable2.numEmployeeRate}*{ColorTable2.numActualQuantity}, 2)

ELSE Round ({ColorTable1.numEmployeeRate} * {ColorTable1.numActualQuantity}, 2)

Now from the formula above I am trying to pull the grand total by group in the reporter footer. I tried running total and the math is not adding up, How do I accomplish this in crystal repports
