c-sharp datagridview

Question

hi friends 
 iam using tab control in datagridview that tab control having tab pages. iam inserting data in DataBase. now i want to update the records using name means datagridview textbox column.


below is the design
 name     status             email these are three columns
 chandu   perminentemo  [email protected]
  

now i want to update using chandu when i click the chandu it shows records in datagridview tab pages. 
 now the problem is iam using linklabel(chandu) column in datagridview when i click this link it works but i want to display records with names only means i dontwant to use link column(chandu)

please help me iam new to this topic
